The 100 Book Challenge

Today I was reading another bloggers blog when I happened upon the BBC  100 Books Meme, or so they call it. BBC believes that most people have only read 6 out of the 100 books on the list and I was determined to prove them wrong. Unfortunately, I have in fact only read 6 of the books on the list, however I have started and failed to complete many of the other books on the list which slightly improved my ego.

Update: When going over this list I realized I had read #9 by Pullman, therefore leaving my tally at 7 before beginning the challenge. HA take that BBC I’m one book above average…well technically many above average since Harry Potter and His Dark Materials are both series. 5/19/12

I have a few of my own books in my collection that I haven’t completed yet, but once I finish those I’m excited to start ticking off the books on this list. In fact, three of the books in my collection are already on the list, way to kill two birds with one stone.

Feel free to challenge yourself and read along with me. Here’s the list and the ones with the (x) are the one’s I have already read.
