As I sit here trying to come up with a marvelous story idea a strange thought came to me. I wonder what it would be like if books could talk to each other? Or if the characters were all shoved into my bedroom and they could see each other and talk to each other. What would they say? How would they react? I have to worry about this thought because all my books characters definitely would not fit in my medium sized bedroom. There is no way I can fit dragons, wizards, vampires, werewolves, soldiers, schizophrenics, Queen’s, and kid’s with wings in my room. I probably couldn’t even fit them all inside my house.

Now that I’ve had that thought I’m trying to imagine what it would be like for Edward and Bella from Twilight to have a conversation with Zoey and Heath from the House of Night. I’m also wondering what Harry and Ron would think of Eragon and Saphira. The scene playing out in my head really is quite amusing and once again I am proud of my overactive imagination.

Maybe all the only children of the world, as in the kids with no siblings, develop overactive imaginations to make up for having no one to play with. Perhaps our imaginations grew to help us adapt to our environment. Then again, I’m sure, well actually I know for a fact, that kids with siblings can also develop overactive imaginations. Whatever the cause, rhyme or reason, it is times like these when I applaud my super excellent skills of entertaining myself.
